The TEC Law Group is pleased to announce its new member to its quickly
expanding Civil Rights Practice Group. Patricia M. Muhammad, Esq. brings
an enriching global perspective and human rights dimension to the firm’s legal
resources. In addition to graduating with honors from Morgan State University
and a J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law, she has a Certificate of
Fluency in Arabic from The American University in Cairo, Egypt. Attorney
Muhammad is a member of the Maryland State Bar, and the U.S. District Court of
Maryland. She is also a member of the International Law Association (American
Branch) and the Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights Association.
Attorney Muhammad’s work entitled The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade: A Forgotten
Crime Against Humanity as Defined by International Law was recently published by
the American University International Law Review. Her legal background includes
working as a Law Clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and the Office of
the Public Defender and as Legal Research Assistant at The American University
in Cairo and the University of Baltimore School of Law. Attorney Muhammad
practices in the area of real estate matters as well. She also serves as Deputy
Clerk/ Case administrator in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Office of the Clerk in
Baltimore.
