Our Technology group provides industry-specific advice to clients in the software, computer hardware, e-commerce, Internet, new media and telecommunications industries. We also work with traditional media clients to expand their business through the use of new technologies, such as video or audio web-casting or streaming. This group is particularly committed to assisting developing countries, local U.S. governments, and nonprofits to increase technology density within underserved areas.

One of the specialties of our tech group is assisting clients to grow their businesses from home-based ventures to full-sized tech enterprises. Such work involves negotiating and drafting incorporators' and stock promotion agreements; preparing and filing documentation to form C-Corps, Limited Liability Corporations, and/or partnerships; drafting operating, partnership, and shareholder agreements; preparing corporate bylaws; developing business plans as well as stock option plans. 

Through strategic partnerships and strong financial industry relationships, we also are well positioned to assist both new and existing companies finance their growth. This capability stems from our close relationships with venture capital entities, potential strategic partners, and Angel investors. Our firm is particularly focused on aiding clients to forge alliances with investors, which provide both seed funding as well as later stage capitalization.

With our cross-fertilized entertainment and telecommunications practice, we are well equipped to offer clients advice on both content (software) and distribution (hardware) matters. On the software side, we advise and assist our clients in the licensing and protection of intellectual property. In this area, we aid clients by researching, preparing, and filing documentation to acquire copyright and trademark protection from both U.S. and international government authorities. 

In the hardware area, we assist clients to secure U.S. and international patent protection. Furthermore, we assist clients to negotiate and prepare licensing, sharing, distribution, research and development, and other types of hardware-related agreements. Moreover, we assist clients in developing strategies for accomplishing their marketing and other business objectives.
